The PeriAnesthesia Nurses of British Columbia (PANBC) was founded in 2002 by a group of passionate and dedicated PACU nurses. They were trailblazers for BC. For this, we thank them, they have shown us the way.

Now, In 2010 we are revisiting their dream. We are proud to announce the rebirth of PANBC.

We hope to connect registered nurses working in all phases of PeriAnesthesia care throughout BC by serving as a resource, and by promoting excellence in PeriAnesthesia nursing through education, dialogue, research, and standards of practice.

We hope to provide educational opportunities via our website which provides online education, interactive forums, announcements of upcoming conferences/funding opportunities and educational articles. We hope to keep BC updated in the latest standards across Canada and link with all the other provinces. It is a chance to increase our professionalism and to grow as a united group. We feel it is time to unite as a Province and Country
